My artistic journey has been filled with unexpected twists and turns, ultimately leading me to where I am meant to be. Art has become an inseparable part of my identity and I couldn’t envision myself pursuing any other path. My creative influence traces back to my mother, who encouraged my early artistic endeavours – whether it was copying and cutting up magazines or doodling freely on anything deemed non-precious. However, the pursuit of a different life led me abroad during my early years and art was temporarily set aside.

Like many of us, life took precedence and art was put on hold. Yet, when time became mine again I felt a compelling need to reignite my passion for the arts. Re-entering academia became my gateway to a realm of creativity once more. This period served as a transformative journey, allowing me to delve into the core of who ‘I’ am as an artist.

Fast forward and I remain committed to the quest for the perfect representation of time and place. The pursuit of art has been a constant thread weaving through the tapestry of my life, shaping my identity and providing a meaningful expression of my connection to the world.
